October 30, 2024: Class Suspensions Due to persistent inclement weather caused by Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS)

In-person, online classes and work from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and Alternative Learning System (ALS) are automatically cancelled in schools situated in Local Government Units (LGUs) issued with Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) 1, 2, 3,4 or 5 by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). - DEPED ORDER 037 s. 2022.

Several areas have suspended classes on Wednesday, October 30, either to support recovery efforts following Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami) or bad weather brought by Typhoon Leon (Kong-rey).

• Naga City – all levels (public and private), until October 31

Calabarzon

Batangas province

• Calaca City – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private), until October 31

• Lemery – all levels (public and private), until October 31

• Nasugbu – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private), until  October 31

• San Luis – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private), until October 31

• Talisay – face-to-face classes for preschool to senior high school (public and private), until October 31

Cavite province

• Noveleta – face-to-face classes in all levels (public)

Laguna

• Bay – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private), until October 31

• Biñan City – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private), until October 31

• Cabuyao City – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private) until October 31

• Calamba City – face-to-face classes for preschool to senior high school (public and private), until October 31

• Los Baños – face-to-face classes in all levels (public), until October 31
